Why chose a Mistore website?Unlike many online solutions, we have developed this software ourselves, we do not re-sell or out source any functionality, you can make changes, add or edit pages, products and features simply without the burden of a web designers’ premium. Our websites are written for maximum web optimisation, and you don’t need any website experience. What are the time scales before I can go live with my website?You will receive a development domain within 24 hours of paying your Mistore setup fee. This allows you to populate your website with products, content, testimonials etc. Whilst you are populating your website, our design team will work on your website design which will be completed within 10 days from signup. Once completed, you will be emailed a proof and once agreed, it will take a further 7 days for the design to be implemented into your website. You will need to purchase a domain, or if you have an existing domain you wish to use, have the login details handy so we can change some settings to ensure the hosting is configured correctly. Make sure you have these passwords, to avoid delay. What if I change my mind?You can change your mind anytime, just email us and stop making payments. Can I cancel my contract at anytime?Yes, if you cancel with us, we’ll cease the service and we will not charge you another penny. Will I get a refund if I change my mind?Once you have agreed to have a website you will be charged the setup fee, if the setup and design have not yet commenced at the point that you change your mind, then a full refund will be given. If the setup or design have commenced but not yet been completed at the point that you change your mind, then a proportionate refund will be issued. After the set up and design has been completed you will pay monthly, in advance, so when you email and cancel, simply stop making payments. Will mistore work with my current website?No, Mistore is a complete web solution. Can I keep my current web address?Yes, your web address or domain name requires a simple change to transfer the hosting to our servers. Do I need to pay for hosting?No, it is included in the monthly charge. Do I need to pay for ‘backing up’ my website?No, your website will be ‘backed up’ daily. The price is included in the monthly charge. Will I experience any ‘downtime’?Our websites are hosted on dedicated, highly reliable servers that are managed and maintained 24 hours days 7 days a week, the chances of it happening are extremely unlikely. Will I own the website outright?No, the source code will always belong to us, but the domain names will always remain your property. What if I ever want to use another company to supply me with a website?If you choose to use another website supplier then let us know when you want to move, then change your domain settings to point to your new hosting company. Do I need a merchant bank account to accept credit card payments?No, you can use a payment processor such as PayPal. Do I get email addresses with the website?Yes, you can have as many email addresses as you need, which can be accessed through ‘webmail’ or an email client like ‘MS Outlook’. Is there free help and support?Yes, we have a comprehensive user guide and a fully staffed call centre on hand to deal with any queries you may have. Is there anything that I cannot sell or publish on my website?Yes, we will not allow you to publish or sell seriously offensive and illegal material on the Mistore servers. Other than that no. Are there any hidden costs?No, our pricing is transparent; you will pay a one off set up and design charge of £299.00 and then £9.99 per month for a business solution or £19.99 per month for an Ecommerce solution (all prices include VAT). Will my website rank well in the search engines?It is impossible for any company to guarantee that website will rank well in a search engine, however mistore websites are written inline with most search engine codes of ethics, and can be read easily by the search engines. Many of our current clients have seen their websites rise substantially once transferred to the Mistore system. Can I track the traffic through my website?Yes, Mistore is fully intergrated with Google Analytics, which is a free service Google supply. You will need to register your website with Google, again, this is free. Is there a limit to how much bandwidth I use?Yes, although we offer ‘unlimited bandwidth’ we have a fair use policy that ensures that every website on our servers can run at an optimum speed. If a particular website uses so much bandwidth that it has the potential to effect other websites on the server, then we would contact you to rectify the situation. Is there a limited to the number of pages and products that I can have?No, we offer ‘unlimited pages and products’, although we do have a fair use policy that ensures that every website on our servers can run at an optimum speed. If your particular site uses so much server space that it has the potential to effect other websites then we would contact you to rectify the situation. For a website to reach this limit it would have to have tens of thousands of products, pages, and images, so in the main, this level of use will never be exceeded. What happens if I exceed your fair use policy?In the unlikely event of exceeding our fair use policy we will contact you. We would renegotiate your monthly charges and if in the unlikely event that you didn’t accept the revised charges then you would be given a reasonable notice period of cancellation. |
